You want to use your phone less. Pinky's promise is to help.
Pick the apps that eat your day and a daily limit. When it runs out they lock. The only way back in is the one you chose: a yes from every person you added, a walk to the places you saved near home, or both. The more you add, the harder it gets. No snooze. No emergency button. Even at night, the only way in is through them. And nothing locks until you have a way back in.
iPhone, iOS 17 or later. The people you trust install Pinky too, and answer with one tap on a notification.
Locked means locked
Pick one or two apps or sites and a daily limit. When it's gone, or at night, they lock with Apple's Screen Time.
Ask, don't snooze
Write why you want back in, ten words or more. Each person you trust gets a notification and says yes or not today. Every one of them has to say yes. Or walk to your places instead.
Then breathe
Even after a yes, you wait a few minutes. Each unlock in a day is shorter than the last, and three is the most.

Saying no is easy here
Friends answer anonymously. If anyone says "not today", or doesn't answer in 30 minutes, the answer is just "not this time". Nobody ever learns who said no, so nobody has to feel bad about it.
Private by design
Your notes are encrypted on your phone for each friend; we can't read them. What you do inside your apps never leaves your iPhone. No ads, no tracking, only anonymous usage statistics, with a switch to turn them off.
